Train Hire

We are able to offer the use of our trains on a per day hire basis for use on our line. We will provide all the required train and platform crew to allow the safe operation of the railway for your period of hire.

We can offer either all Steam, all Diesel or mixed motive power from the locomotives available, although you are welcome to supply your own (suitable) locomotive(s) if you wish. Passenger capacity ranges from 30 persons up to 150 persons.

Train hire can also be combined with our Function service for the provision of finger buffets and/or cream teas.
